PENDAMPINGAN KEPALA SEKOLAH PAUD/TK DALAM OPTIMALISASI MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN PAUD/TK SE-KECAMATAN DUREN SAWIT JAKARTA TIMUR
Abstract
Duren Sawit District is one of the sub-districts in East Jakarta City. The management of early childhood education (PAUD/TK) in Duren Sawit District has not performed their optimum effort. Moreover, the lack of synchronization between PAUD goals and the expectations of students' parents necessitates effective and active communication. An effective plan for optimizing PAUD/TK school management is required, tailored to the demands of each PAUD/TK school. As a result, school principals must devise a strategy to increase the quality of PAUD/TK instruction through effective school management. On this basis, community service activities (PKM) must be conducted to strengthen the role and competence of school principals in maximizing PAUD/TK school management to improve the quality of PAUD/TK education. The target of this PKM was the principals of PAUD/TK Duren Sawit District in East Jakarta. Community-based research was employed in this research with the implementation of a focus group discussion (FGD) method. The outcomes of this PKM achievement can be seen from the enhancement of school principals' roles and competence in establishing effective school management strategies to promote the quality of PAUD/TK.
